Marosa is a healing plant that can help a person embark on this spiritual and emotional journey into the self in a deeply experiential way. Well known amongst Amazonian Shipibo healers for her power to heal a broken-heart and inspire a renewed appreciation and love of self and the beauty that resides within, Marosa is one of the master plant spirits revered for her watery feminine quality and the great healing power she embodies. Marosa is chosen by many Shipiba maestras as a key spiritual ally in their healing work. There is even an ancient melody recognized as the sacred Icaro or song of Marosa, the voice of her spirit.
HOW TO INGEST YOUR REMEDIO:
Traditional Dieta:
For connecting with the the energetic essence of the plant, one may follow protocol for a traditional dieta. A traditional dieta is a process of ritualized dietary restriction and intention to connect more deeply with the plant physically and spiritually.
+ Plan to do a dieta for 8, 15, or 30 days. During this time, avoid meat, salt, oil, strong spices, and sexual activity.
+ After preparing the remedio, 10 drops 3x/day, before meals.
+ Take extra space for meditation, reflection, and paying attention to dreamtime during this period.
Basic Ingestion:
To gain the benefits for the health and maintenance of the body, mind, and spirit, one can also follow a basic diet and eat a normal diet.
+ For best results, I do recommend working with these plants with intention and gratitude. Best results may be supported through a balanced, vegetarian diet.
